Late night shopping at the Cambridge market evokes the sense of calm with a hint of grandeur. The darkened brights of the market canopies seem to cover and protect the late night shoppers, while the peaks of Great St Mary’s and King’s College Chapel peak out from behind. This photo was made with Intentional Camera Movement (ICM photography).

A2 prints are limited editions (out of 30). A3 prints are limited editions (out of 70). A4 prints are open editions.
Evoking the essence of a space without capturing details is a hallmark of intentional camera movement (ICM) photography. A highly technical process, ICM involves photographing a scene with a very slow shutter speed, then significant digital manipulation and stacking of multiple exposures until the resulting image is ‘just right’.
Archival Pigment Prints
Archival pigment prints are museum quality pieces made by the artist in her own studio. Paper is smooth matte, archival, 100% cotton, 308gsm Hahnemuhle FineArt Photo Rag fine art paper. Ink is high end pigment-based and long-lasting (the company claims 400 years!). Note prints will not show the watermark.
Due to the wide variety of screens, the colours on your screen may differ slightly from colours in the print. If you’re concerned, please get in touch first and I can send you a colour sample in advance.
Editioning
A4 prints are artist-printed and signed open editions (not limited).
A3 and A2 prints are also artist-printed and signed. Each of these prints is a numbered limited edition, out of 70 for A3, out of 30 for A2 size. Note two Artist’s Editions of each size are retained by the photographer.
Sizes
Prints have a small white (paper) margin around the printed picture.
A5: 10 x 12 inch mount
A4: 297 x 210 mm paper, 500 x 400 mm mount, frame is slightly larger than the mount
A3: 420 x 297 mm paper, 640 x 495 mm mount, frame is slightly larger than the mount
A2: 594 x 420 mm paper, 770 x 570 mm mount, frame is slightly larger than the mount

Framing
Frames supplied by the artist are as specified and shown above. The frames offered differ for each piece based on what the artist thinks will be a great frame for that particular piece. If you want a set of images framed in the same way, just get in touch to discuss requirement before purchase.
The artist prefers a wide 100mm mount for nearly each piece to allow adequate breathing room for the artwork.
