Abstract geophotographs exploring the inherent noir dishevelment of sea level rise and climate change in an ephemeral, intimate, painterly aesthetic: subtly luscious and dangerously timely.
Photographs were made in winter 2022-2023 along the cliffs and sea at the Amalfi coast of Italy, in response to reading about higher levels of sea level rise along the Sorrentine Peninsula area compared to most other places in the Mediterranean. The accompanying text was written shortly thereafter.
